Great Horned owl videos (one eats worms and one is very still)

Ok, so I found a Video of the Great Horned Owl. I just wanted to say that this lady must be a professional because if you did this to a grown owl in the wild it would probably attack your finger. If you like the video there is a code to embed it on the link. its only 52. seconds so please just check it out.

This owl  happens to be very, very still. This is actually what great horned owls tend to do. I could only tell that this was a video not a picture because the trees are moving, take a note of that.

These are four adorable great horned owl chicks. This is only a short clip but it gives you a glimpse of some fluffy owls in action :-)

The Hungry Owl project

Many Owls are being killed. This is because the chemicals in rat poisoning kill the rat but, the rat is now poisonous. When a hungry owl comes along and eats the rat- no more owl. There is something called the hungry owl project, that is trying to provent this. here is a link for more information on removing rat poison: http://www.hungryowl.org/rodenticide.html
